2008 Spotlight Prize Winners Announced
Spotlight is delighted to announce the names of this year’s Spotlight Prize Winners.
They are:
Best female actor - Chloe Thorpe (wins £1500)
Best male actor - Francis Ortega (wins £1500)
Highly commended female actor – Iris Roberts (£1000)
Highly commended male actor – Luke Kempner (£1000)
The judges also gave a special mention to Sophie Stone and James Britton.
The prizes were awarded based on their performances in the Spotlight Showcases, which took place at the Strand Palace Hotel on Tuesday 15th and Wednesday 16th July.
They were chosen by a panel of judges Hugh Bonneville, David Grindrod, Esther Hall, Anne McNulty, Nigel Seale, Dallas Smith and Gail Stevens.
